The name pays homage to the areas first people, the Nishnawbe-Aski or original people. Pictographs and burial sites are reminders of thousands of years of existence, struggle and perseverance. You can feel the history and spirit in the air!
Jason and Michelle Meyer are your hosts for this unique adventure, a married couple from southwest Ontario, following their dream to be outfitters in this beautiful region dominated by raging rivers, fish filled lakes and abundant wildlife. After travelling and fishing across northern Ontario we fell in love with the little railway town of Nakina. A region rooted in forestry, mining, trapping and of course tourism. We have southern roots but northern hearts and will try our very best to make your fishing or hunting vacation a memorable one!
